Booking
A £20 deposit per room per night will secure a booking.

Payment
You should settle your bill by the time you depart. Cheques should be made payable to Canal View Bed and Breakfast. Debit and Credit Cards are accepted but there is a 2% charge when using a Personal credit card and a 2.5% charge for Corporate credit cards.

Cancellation by guest
We will refund your deposit if you cancel or shorten your reservation more than 7 days before you are to arrive. If you cancel or shorten your reservation within 7 days of your arrival, we reserve the right to retain your deposit for the nights you do not stay. If you do not turn up or you cancel or shorten your stay after 4pm on the day before you are due to arrive, we reserve the right to charge you the full cost of your reservation. Where we refund any money we reserve the right to charge an administration fee to cover any transaction costs that we have incurred.

Pets
Sorry, we do not allow pets at this property.

Acceptance of Children
We welcome children of all ages.

Non-availability of Accommodation
We would only cancel your booking if your accommodation was unavailable for reasons beyond our control. We would however attempt to offer you alternative accommodation. If this was not possible, or unacceptable to you, then we would refund all money paid by you for the booking. Our liability would not extend beyond this refund.

Arrival and Departure
Your accommodation will be available to you from 4pm on the day of arrival, unless otherwise arranged. Please be ready to leave the accommodation by 10am on the day of your departure.

Damages and Breakages
Please take care when staying in our property. You are responsible and liable for any breakages or damages which you cause to the accommodation or its contents. Please report any incidents as they occur. We do not normally charge for minor breakages, but we may send you an invoice for repair or making good if the damage or breakage is significant.

Smoking
Smoking is not permitted anywhere on the premises. If we find you have smoked in your room you will be liable for the cost of putting the room right and the cost of any nights while it is not in a suitable state to let out.

Conduct and behaviour
We reserve the right to require you to leave if your conduct or behaviour is unacceptable or disturbs our other guests. Your deposit for any nights outstanding will not be refunded.

Liability
We do not accept any liability for any damage, loss or injury to you or any member of your party or any vehicles or possessions, unless proven to be caused by a negligent act by ourselves or our employees or contractors whilst acting in the course of employment.

Privacy Policy
Any data collected during the course of this booking will be stored on our computer(s). With your permission we may from time to time contact you about promotions and offers. We will not share your details with any third party.
